The Ties that Bind By Warren Adler is a mystery is set in Washington, D.C. in the USA.

Adler uses the ruse obvious in Fifty Shades of Grey to titillate the reader. So if you are not repelled by extremely graphic descriptions of Bondage and Domination, the plot moves along.

If we were giving star ratings for this work, it would only score 2-3 out of a possible 5 overall.

Sentence structure is tight but it seems like the sexuality is written from a very masculine point of view and the depiction of the female ingénue may not be accurate.

This author obviously trades on writing crime, teetering on smut. Reviewer would not waste time reading further books by this author.
