The Tom Keneally Centre is a small unique event space in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, offering guests an opportunity to be surrounded by books and memorabilia which form Thomas Keneally’s living legacy.
Comfortable and cosy, it is a perfect venue for literary events, book launches, and intimate special events. The venue has a capacity of 40 people and seating can be rearranged to suit your needs.
Adjacent to the Tom Keneally Centre, the Norman Selfe Room can be hired as a breakout room if required.

About Tom Keneally
Thomas Keneally, AO is one of Australia’s most celebrated authors. He is a novelist, playwright, essayist, and actor. He was the first Australian to win the Booker Prize for his famed, Schindler’s Ark (1982), which is the basis for the Academy Award-winning film Schindler’s List (1993) by Steven Spielberg.
He has a strong relationship with the Sydney Mechanics’ School of Arts and in 2011 opened the Thomas Keneally Centre to house his books and memorabilia.
