A Message from the President
February 24, 2023

Welcome Bríd Slattery,

I am pleased to introduce Bríd as the new Financial Controller of the Sydney Mechanics’ School of Arts (SMSA). Her extensive experience will stand SMSA in good stead well into our future.

Bríd is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and has extensive international experience across the SME sector.

A senior finance professional with significant financial management and control expertise, Bríd has particular experience in financial accounting, reporting and audit gained in Ireland and Australia.

Bríd has a very hands-on approach and is looking forward to working in the SMSA to make a positive and lasting contribution.

In her spare time Bríd enjoys reading, travel and going to the theatre.

We are delighted Bríd has joined the SMSA after Michael Ludowici retired in December 2022. We wish Michael all the best for his retirement.

Please feel free to contact me, the SMSA staff will provide my contact details.

Kindest regards,

Winsome Allen, SMSA Board President
