Vintage Murder by Ngaio Marsh

Dame Ngaio March was born in New Zealand in 1899 and died in February 1982. She wrote twenty five detective novels. Marsh’s passion was the theatre as she was both an actress and a producer.

Her words easily evoke images, smells, feelings. Her style is easily fluid- with no artifice with the scent of best descriptions as beautiful as intriguing perfume.

Her writing has cross cultural dimensions. It is sly, sophisticated, highbrow and human. She offers complex interesting theories which both assumes the readers intellect and requires an enquiring mind. An engrossing read.
