The Litigators by John Grisham

Ex-lawyer John Grisham knows the law well and his books are a joy to read. The Litigators is up to his usual best.

This latest is about three men in a small town law firm who are all from different sides of the legal profession. Their days are spent dealing with small cases such as personal injury, quickie divorces and parking tickets.

None of them has ever faced a jury in a federal court or been before a High Court Judge.

When one of their clients is in trouble over health issues, they are forced to take on one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in the United States.

They are totally out of their depth knowing they have to go to court and fight like hell for justice for their clients.

This is a very good read with a satisfying ending.
