French Conversation Group (Intermediate)

Listen up fabulous Francophiles, the SMSA French Conversation Group is back and restarting on Thursday 19 February 2026.

The group meets on the third Thursday of the month at 2:00 pm in the Tom Keneally Centre on Level 3, and is the perfect place to stop conjugating verbs alone and start using them in the wild.

We have crafted this space for intermediate speakers who have a foundation in French, already know their bonjour from their bonne journée, and are ready to flirt with fluency, build their vocabulary and polish their accents.

Please note that this is a conversation group to complement your language lessons, not a substitute for formal instruction.

Think of it as your French practice playground – no pressure, no judgement, just pure joie de vivre.

If you are interested or would like more information please call us at 02 9262 7300 or email membership@smsa.org.au.

Allons-y!
