The Rime of the Ancient Mariner: A Live Reading

The Rime of the Ancient Mariner: A Live Reading

Date & Time

Wednesday 13 November 2024

1:00PM – 2:00PM

Ahoy, poetry lovers! Embark on a literary voyage with Peter Rainey and the SMSA Members’ Poetry Group as they drop anchor in the Henry Carmichael Theatre and dive into Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s epic seafaring poem, The Rime of the Ancient Mariner, that timeless tale of sailors, sea creatures, and supernatural curses.

This talented crew of poets will reel you in with a lively reading full of chills, thrills, and (dare we say) albatross-sized emotions.

Whether you’re already a poetry “buoy” or just testing the waters, this is one voyage you won’t want to miss.
