A Message from the President (3 March 2022)
March 3, 2022

Dear Members

I hope that you are all keeping safe during the current adverse weather conditions affecting much of New South Wales and Queensland.

The devastating floods have affected many of us personally, as well as friends and family further afield. We are concerned about our members’ wellbeing at this difficult time. Please feel free to get in contact with me and let me know how you’re getting on.

SMSA remains open, including the main Library and the Tom Keneally Centre, and we are back to in-person events this month. Please take care when travelling in to visit us.

For those of you who are unable to travel into the city at this time, but that still have access to a stable internet connection, remember that we have a range of online library resources for you to access from home, including film, eBooks and Audiobooks.

We look forward to seeing you at SMSA when you’re able to join us.

Keep safe.

On behalf of the Board and staff of the SMSA,

Winsome Allen
